Caring for our Village Institute

Hornby Institute is run by volunteers and supported by the local community. This year we replaced the boiler at a cost of £20,000, and there’s more work ahead on carpets, furnishings, decorating and general upkeep. If you’d like to help, you can donate to the Institute Appeal online, at reception, or by bank transfer.

Calling volunteers, can you help?

The volunteers comprise a committee with overall running of the trust; helpers who make refreshments for the Drop-In; people representing the groups who meet here, and fundraisers who are so very important. We’re always looking for new ideas for events/gatherings and would love to hear yours! Please get in touch and you will be made most welcome.
