Parkinson Suite

The magnificent Parkinson Suite is Hornby Institute’s main hall and is the ideal venue for large parties, wedding celebrations, concerts and performances.

The hall, fully restored to its 1950s period glory, has a sprung dance floor.

There is a fully-equipped large stage, with changing rooms and back stage facilities.

There is a lighting and sound system along with a large screen, projection box and piano.

A fully flexible space, the Parkinson Suite can seat up to 150 people when arranged with theatre-style seating. Alternatively, it can accommodate 120 for a sit-down meal, or 80 in cabaret-style layout. The adjoining kitchen (link to kitchen page) provides professional-standard catering facilities.

Alongside the hall is the Parkinson lounge, which provides bar facilities to support events in the main hall.
